In another Breakfast Dialogue, BDB Law, in partnership with the Management Association of the Philippines, invited the Secretary of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), Hon. Ernesto Perez, to discuss the government’s action plan and long-term solutions in enforcing the country’s National Policy and mandate on Ease of Doing Business (EODB). Secretary Perez discussed key programs ARTA has implemented and the agency’s continued effort in the streamlining and digitalization of processes to improve the way the government serves its citizenry.
The discussion was productive and lively. Partnerships for various ARTA projects were discussed, including the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with ARTA, DICT, DILG and MAP for the monitoring and implementation of the Ease of Doing Business initiatives. Attendees from MAP include its leaders, chairs and vice chairs of the various committees and select members.
The BDB Law - MAP Breakfast Dialogue is a series of closed-door huddle of government officials and business leaders to discuss burning issues of the day, explore areas for cooperation and be enlightened on game-changing policy directions.
