Junior Partner
Mabel Buted is a Junior Partner of Du-Baladad & Associates (BDB Law). She is a CPA-Lawyer with more than 10 years of extensive experience in tax services ranging from tax due diligence review, advisory, tax litigation, assessments, corporate services, and M&A. She heads the tax compliance and due diligence unit of the Firm.
Mabel handles local and multinational clients from various industries especially in mining, power, real estate, manufacturing, trading, and services. Prior to BDB Law, she worked as a Junior Associate in Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon & San Jose (CLTPSJ), where she was exposed in litigation, corporate, tax and labor practice.
Early in her career, she also worked as a Tax In-charge in Punongbayan and Araullo (P&A) (now Grant Thornton Philippines). At P&A, she conducted tax compliance/tax due diligence reviews, and tax outsourcing services to local and multi-national companies.
Mabel graduated from San Beda College – Manila (Bachelor of Laws) and De La Salle University – Manila (BS Accountancy), and placed 3rd in the May 2009 CPA Board Examination.
