BDB Law Founding Partner and CEO and Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) President, Atty. Benedicta Du-Baladad discussed top business sector concerns with prominent business leaders and government officials during the post-SONA Economic Briefing held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on July 25, 2023.
She highlighted the collaboration efforts made between the business sector and the government through regular breakfast dialogues with policymakers to discuss the important issues of the day. She also shared that the group is open to working in collaboration with the government, in fact, the group is drafting a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). This is a part of their many efforts to improve the ease of doing business, which remain as the business sector's top concern based on a survey conducted between MAP Members last November.
Atty. Du-Baladad also shared that they are also collaborating with the Educational Committee (EDCOMII) as part of MAP's advocacy on Education.
